This darkly comic play follows 24 hours in the life of Susan, a suburban housewife going slowly mad in South London, or perhaps she is at the mercy of far more menacing forces. Ignored by her dull husband Gerald, Susan retreats into a fantasy life with a 'perfect' family, but as the lines between reality and fantasy start to blur, Susan begins to realise that fantasy may not be as harmless as it seems. Told from a subjective viewpoint everything is seen from the perspective of Susan and the audience sees and hears what she sees and hears.
