The COMPANY of PLAYERS

A Lovely Sunday for Creve Coeur
by Tennessee Williams
10th - 18th November 2006
Directed by Jack Wood

Dottie, a hopelessly romantic teacher, sits by the phone waiting to hear from the man she loves. Her roommate, Bodey, knows the man to be a cad and tries to steer Dottie toward another man with an invitation to a picnic at Creve Coeur Lake. The sharp Helena arrives with her own plans for Dottie, while Miss Gluck, their eccentric neighbour, adds to the chaos of what should be a lovely Sunday morning.

This wonderful, uplifting play by Williams has all the same trademark witty dialogue as his others.
